Tema Traditional Council Bares Teeth At Gov’t Over Nomination Of Non-Indigenes

Tema Traditional Council has expressed its utmost displeasure over how government is handling the issue of nomination of Chief Executives for Tema, Ashaiman and Tema West.
The Council says none of the three nominations is an indigene speaking volumes about how president John Mahama regards them.
Members of the council see this as a slap in the face and are ready to advise themselves should the situation remain the same.
Addressing the media, Tema Shippi, *Nii Amarh* Somponu says they are unable to come to terms with how these three areas have been secluded from having indigenes as their leaders.
Asked if they have plans to stop government in its tracks, *Nii Amarh* Somponu says they cannot deeply meddle in politics.
