The youth of Adum Kwanwoma have expressed concerns regarding some negative behavior of their chief within the community.
Adum Kwanwoma is located in the Atwima Kwanwoma District.
According to the residents, their new chief, who was installed about two years ago, proposed using the community’s cocoa shed as a police station, a suggestion that the community accepted.
However, during an press conference held in the town today, some of the residents alleged that their chief sold a portion of land to an unknown individual without consulting the community.
A visit by Lawson News to Kwamo Kwanwoma Basic School revealed an abundance of toilet facilities. The residents stated that the chief’s lack of care for his people has contributed to the poor condition of these facilities.
The residents of Adum Kwanwoma are calling for clarity from their chief and the town’s leaders regarding these allegations.
They are also appealing Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to intervene and seek justice on their behalf.
