Baffour Osei kuffour Is Still The Only Recognized Anou Stool Chief

The Family of Anou stool in the Ashanti Region have confirmed that Baffour Osei kuffour is still the only recognized chief of Anou stool and krotihene of Offinso Traditional Council.

Their comment followed the recent rumours hovering around the nooks and crannies of the world that he has been destooled by the offinso traditional council, following the recent Chieftaincy dispute in Offinso.

In a press conference at Anou Palace, The Queen mother of Anou stool Nana Frimpomaa Nyarko, confidently stated that Ghanaians should treat those rumours as fake.

“I am by this presser stating emphatically that, Offinso traditional council, has never destooled Baffour Osei Kuffour.

There are no substantial negative charges against him in the face of Offinso Traditional council”.

Meanwhile some family members therefore challenged those spreading the fake news to produce their evidence of charges that influenced his destoolment and or the evidence showing his destoolment at the Offinso traditional council.

They reiterated that there is no chief at Anou apart from Nana Baffour Osei kuffour as globally and traditionally recognized.
