A 6-year old girl child has been found dead in an abandoned vehicle in the Suame market of the Ashanti Region.
According to source available to Atinka News reporter, Sofoba Kwame Afrifah, the deceased went missing last Sunday, May 4th, 2025 when she came to the market with her mother.
In an interview with Sofoba Kwame Afrifah, an eyewitness, Akwasi Owusu (a.k.a Awuliquaye) said the mother who sells plastic bowls came to the market for her usual trading but never returned home with her child.
“She (the mother) informed me last Sunday that her child had gone missing so we were in a search for her untill today, May 7, 2025 that the news broke out that she’s seen dead and almost decomposed in an abandoned private vehicle in the market”.
The Suame police has conveyed the remains to KATH morgue to pave way for further investigation.
