Tension Erupts Asawase As NDC Grassroots Rejects MCE Nominee For Asokore Manpong Municipality

The grassroots of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Asokore Mampong Municipality have rejected the nominee for Municipal Chief Executive, Ben Abdallah Alhassan, citing incompetence and lack of leadership skills required to drive the development within the municipality.

These grassroots wanted Alhaji Faisal Dawuda, the Constituency Chairman, also known as Chairman Concern, to be appointed as the Municipal Chief Executive, believing he has the requisite skills and experience to lead the municipality and drive development.

Meanwhile, the other factions believed from the camp of the nominee gathering at the office of the member of parliament for Asokore Mampong extending their appreciation to president John Dramani Mahama for the nomination.
