EKK Foundation Celebrates Mothers’ Day With Nursing Mothers

EKK Charity Foundation, a non-profit organization as part of this year’s Mothers’ Day celebration, marked the day with nursing mothers in some five hospitals in Greater Kumasi yesterday.
CEO of EKK Charity Foundation, Dr. Evans Kofi Kwafo led the donation exercise in hospitals like KNUST Hospital, Kumasi South (Atonsu) Hospital, Tafo Hospital, South Suntreso Hospital and the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) where mothers were given some beautiful hampers.
More than one hundred and twenty (120) hampers filled with soaps, detergents, detol, washing powder, after wash, and other babies’ items were distributed to mothers who were delivered on the mother’s day.
Speaking after the donation, CEO of EKK Charity Foundation, Dr. Evans Kofi Kwafo stressed the need for the foundation to take such a step to put smiles on the faces of these mothers.
He also noted that there is more to come and urged mothers to hold on to the faith in God no matter what the situation may be.
Dr. Evans Kofi Kwafo further expressed gratitude to Hon. Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff to President John Dramani Mahama, for supporting the foundation financially to make sure he put smiles on the face of mothers on their special day.
Some mothers who received the items also expressed their gratitude to the foundation.
