Toyota Camry Carrying Eight Live Goats Arrested By Police

The Assin South District Police Command has arrested a Toyota Camry with registration number GE 7075 -23 for allegedly stealing eight live goats at Okyiso in the Assin South District of the Central Region.

According to information gathered by Rich FM and Angel News, some police officers in Assin South who acted upon a tip-off traced the suspect to the Assin Okyiso community where the alleged illegality took place, but upon reaching the crime scene, the suspect fled with the said vehicle containing the goats.

The police officers who were eager to foil the crime gave the perpetrator a bumper-to-bumper chase with the police vehicle.

The suspect, who felt threatened by the hot chase by the police, abandoned the said Toyota Camry at the roadside just after Abura Koduagya, a few meters from the Teti junction police barrier.

The vehicle and the 8 live goats are currently in the grips of police as an exhibit to aid police investigation
