Men Arrested For Slashing Her18 Year Old Daughter For Getting Pregnant

A 45-year-old farmer, Kwabena Aseidu, has been arrested by the Bibiani District Police Commander for allegedly butchering his own daughter at Sefwi Tanoso Praso in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.

Narrating the cause of the incident to Kofi Gyabaah Prof of Adehyie FM and ABN Reporter, the victim *Susana Asiedu*, popularly known as *Maabena* an 18-year-old apprentice, explained that, very day she went to her friend’s house to pay a visit and the father came and accused her of being five months pregnant.

She confirmed the accusation was true, which led to overrising of temper on the side of the Father.

During the altercation, the father pulled out a kitchen knife, chased her into her friend’s bedroom, and began slash her and before she realized she found herself admitted to the Bibiani Government Hospital with doctors surrounding her.

Sefwi Tanoso Praso Electoral Area Unit Committee Member, Teacher Isaac, explained that this incident has shocked the community, raising concerns about domestic violence.

He added that the suspect ran away and was later arrested. The police are currently investigating the matter, and he prayed that Kwabena Aseidu would face charges for his alleged actions.
