Government Urged To PriorItize Rural Teacher’s Welfare

Joseph Donkor, outgoing District Education Director for Kwahu Afram Plains South in the Eastern Region has called on the government to prioritize the welfare of teachers in rural communities to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

He emphasized the need for improved welfare packages, including better living conditions and incentives, to encourage teachers to stay longer in rural areas.

He added that ,by investing in teacher welfare, the government can address the challenges faced by rural education and promote more effective teaching and learning.
