Mr. Joseph Obosu Mensah, the Bono Regional Commissioner of the Ghana Scout Association has counseled the youth, particularly those involved in scouting, to abstain from illicit substances and drug misuse.
He emphasized that the scouting journey entails numerous regulations, underscoring the importance for individuals engaged in scouting to refrain from drug use in order to fully comprehend and enrich their understanding of the scouting process.
He made this assertion During an event which took place at Berekum East of the Bono Region titled NaSco Jam 2025, organized by the Ghana Scout Association under the theme “Strength in Unity, Strive Together as Scouts,”
Mr. Louis Okyere, Chief Scout Commissioner of the Ghana Scout Association urged
Ghanaians engaged in scouting to exhibit humility and approach the scouting process with the earnestness it merits, in order to make a significant impact in the professional realm.
He implored the youth particularly those already involved in scouting and those aspiring to join the scouting community to maintain a humble disposition and diligently learn the scouting processes to aid in their future development.
