Offinso Traditional Council Meeting Turns “Boxing And Slapping” Over Abofour Abusuapanin Crisis

The Asekyere Royal Family at Abofour has made a passionate appeal to His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, to intervene in a matter concerning the Offinso Manhene.

According to the family, the Offinso Manhene’s decision to remove the Abusua Panyin position from the Royal Family and give it out to different people who are not part of the Royal Family has sparked controversy and concern among the royal family.

The family asserts that the Abusua Payin is a pure member of the royal family, and they believe that the Offinso Manhene’s actions are motivated by greed and selfishness.

They are seeking Otumfour Osei Tutu II’s intervention to call the Offinso Manhene to order and resolve the matter amicably.

Speaking to the media the AbusuaPanyin Moses Amponsah disclosed that, the Offinso manhene wants to take the position from them and divert it to a different family which to him, they are not are royals.

“After I have done all the funeral right about our passed Chief and Queen mother you want to take away my position” He asked
