Volta Region Set To Benefit From Tourism Boost As Minister Pledges Support

The Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Dzifa Abla Gomashie, has embarked on a working tour of the Volta Region to promote local tourism development. During a courtesy call on the Volta Regional.
Minister, Hon. James Gunu, Hon. Gomashie emphasized the ministry’s commitment to partnering with local authorities to harness the region’s vast tourism potential.
The delegation, comprising CEOs and directors from various tourism agencies, visited the Praise City Eco Park and Resort, a 100-acre eco-tourism park featuring thrilling attractions such as zip lines, canopy walkways, and wildlife.
Hon. Gomashie highlighted the significance of national pride and connectivity in tourism development, stating,
“There is nothing that promotes tourism more than connectivity and national pride.”
The Volta Regional Minister echoed Hon. Gomashie’s sentiments, advocating for technical expertise and a coordinated approach to elevate the region’s tourist attractions.
