MCE Vows To Remove Traders Along Suame Road

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Suame Frank Owusu Ansah, says he is poised to bring sanity along the Suame stretch in order to ease traffic congestion.
He has thus promised to do the right thing despite the many complaints from naysayers and critics.
Hon. Frank Owusu Ansah made this comment after contractors of Suame Interchange project stalls due to traders encroachment.
The contractors has expressed frustration over the situation, stating that traders have occupied the middle of the road, hindering the contractors ability to work efficiently.
According to the MCE, the Suame Municipal assembly is currently preparing a new place for the traders and will soon move them.
He therefore appealed to the residents to desist from throwing refuse dump into the gutters.
He spoke to the media at clean up exercise at old Suame.
The Assembly Member for Old Suame electoral area Hon. Kwadwo Gyamfi said, this decision by the assembly to get the traders from the roadside will help the early completion of the Suame deplorable road and the Interchange project.
