Examination Malpractice Will End Your Future – MCE Warns BECE Candidates 

The Municipal Chief Executive Officer of Afigya Kwabre South in the Ashanti Region, Hon Patricia Pearl Ankrah, has advised candidates sitting for the Basic Education Certificate Examination to refrain from malpractice, warning that it can have severe consequences on their future.

According to her, engaging in such practices will not help them achieve their goals, and passing an exam through cheating does not reflect a student’s true abilities.

Hon Ankrah made this statement during her tour of the examination centres in the municipality, where 4,972 candidates were sitting for the exam across 18 centres.

She emphasized the importance of integrity and hard work, urging the candidates to approach the exams with confidence and honesty.

The MCE’s warning serves as a reminder to the candidates that the consequences of examination malpractice can be far-reaching, potentially impacting their future academic and professional prospects.

As the exams continue, it is hoped that the candidates will heed the advice and focus on demonstrating their knowledge and skills in a fair and honest manner.

Meanwhile, the municipal educational Director Mr David Akomiah urged parents to allow their wards who are writing the BECE to study instead of giving them tedious work.
