13-Year-Old Boy Allegedly Murdered At Osiem

A tragic incident has shocked residents of Akyem Osiem-Kyekyewere in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region, as a 13-year-old boy, identified as Richmond K. Antony, popularly known as “Paa,” was allegedly murdered by an unknown assailant on the evening of Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

According to the victim’s father, the young boy had stepped out around 7:00 p.m. to buy food but returned shortly after with multiple cutlass wounds on his body, crying out in pain.

He was immediately rushed to the Hawa Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The matter has since been reported to the Akyem New Tafo Police Command, who have launched investigations into the alleged murder.
