70 year Disable Women Call For Construction Of A Death Trap Bridge At Odumase Salosi

A 70 years old disabled woman at Odumase Salosi in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region, Martha Tetteh has called on authorities to help construct a bridge at Odumase Salosi to help save lives and properties in the area.
Speaking to Angel News reporter Jaman Dehyee Opambour stated that, whenever it rains in the area, the entire house and its environs get flooded which she cannot run away to save her life as she is physically challenged.
“The flood was dragging me away, when the bridge got damaged, the whole place got flooded and the houses were in the floods like ships in the sea which I don’t know where to run to as a disabled person ” she narrated.
She therefore called on the MCE for Lower Manya Krobo, *John Matey* to act urgently as a lot of students in the area used the death trap bridge.
Evans Kwasi Tetteh. Kwasi Lotto Assembly Member for Odumase North Electoral Area in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality in an interview with Angel News appeal to the current MCE as a matter of urgency help construct a new bridge else for the people in the area else calamity or disaster awaiting.
According to him, together with the community, several attempts have been made to reconstruct a bridge and solve the situation but all proved furtail.
