Flooding in the Twifu Atti Morkwa District has indeed caused significant damage, especially considering a similar incident occurred in 2022 where heavy downpours destroyed 53 houses in Twifo Adugyaa, Daamang, Twifo Sumnyamekodur, and Twifo Ntafrewaso.
Currently the the affected areas of this heavy downpours are Nuamakrom,Nsuo akyiri, bimpongso,kanan, Akromanmu and it environs, thankfully no Lives were lost.
According to the residents, the two main rivers in the area get flooded into it surrounding towns leading to destruction of properties.
Twifu Atti Morkwa District Nadmo director Mr James Prah and his team visited the area to console them and gave advice on building practice.
The affected people in this vicinities are appealing to individuals, Philanthropist and Government to come into their Aid.
