Volta Regional Coordinating Council Strengthens Partnership With State Broadcaster And Media Institutions

The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, as part of his working engagements, paid a visit to Volta Star Radio, the state broadcaster in the Region. The visit was aimed at deepening collaboration with the media, a key partner in promoting the development agenda of the Region.

During the interaction, the Regional Director Mr Franklin Agbenyo highlighted the immense untapped assets in the Volta Region that must be leveraged for the benefit of the people.

Hon. Gunu emphasized the vital role of the media in the Mahama-led government’s resetting agenda, and recalled his own early days as a GBC stringer, reinforcing his appreciation for the work of journalists.

To support their operations, the Minister presented a laptop to Volta Star Radio.

The VRCC remains committed to building strong partnerships with the media and other stakeholders to drive inclusive development across the Region.
