Suspects Remanded For Tying And Caning 12-Year-Old; Case Adjourned To July 10, 2025

Two suspects who allegedly tied up and brutally caned a 12-year-old boy have been remanded into police custody by the Gender-Based Violence Court in Sekondi and are expected to reappear on July 10, 2025.

The suspects, Sulema Abdullah Rashid and Issah Morro, appeared before Her Honour Mrs. Naa Armerley Akowuah, facing two charges ,child torture and causing harm

The presiding judge refused bail and ordered the suspects to be held in custody to allow for further investigations.

The case is scheduled to continue on July 10, 2025.
