Ghanaian Shop Owner Stabbed To Death At Mile 11 After Dispute With Co-Tenant

A 34-year-old Ghanaian shop owner has been stabbed to death at Mile 11 in the Greater Accra Region following a violent confrontation believed to have stemmed from a misunderstanding with a Nigerian co-tenant.

According to the sister of the deceased, the tragic incident occurred after her brother had a heated exchange with the Nigerian co-tenant.

The co-tenant’s son is said to have called on a group, popularly referred to as “squad,” who launched a brutal attack on the victim.

According to eyewitness, they came in a group of about nine people, and stabbed the victim three times with a pair of scissors. After that, they used a taser on him.

He bled profusely and died before help could arrive .

The gruesome murder has sparked outrage among the youth of Mile 11, who have issued a stern warning to authorities.

They say if the police fail to take immediate action and bring the perpetrators to justice, they will be forced to take matters into their own hands.

The angry youth are calling on the Ghana Police Service to expedite investigations and ensure that those involved face the full rigours of the law.

The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the police hospital morgue while investigations continue.
