Tarkwa MCE Vows To Tackle Social Vices At Railway Station

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Tarkwa Nsuaem in the Western Region, Hon. Ebenezer Cobbinah, has assured residents that firm measures will be taken to curb the rising incidents of social vices at the Tarkwa Railway Station, including theft, prostitution, and other criminal activities.

During a media briefing, the MCE expressed concern over the negative image the area projects, stating that such reports do not reflect well on the municipality. In response, the assembly is set to embark on a decongestion exercise aimed at mitigating these unlawful acts.

Hon. Cobbinah further emphasized the need to improve the reputation and development of Tarkwa Nsuaem. He pledged to work closely with local companies and stakeholders to transform the municipality into a more secure and prosperous area.
