Three NDC Members From Assin Central Granted Bail, Set To Reappear In Court

Three branch executives from the Assin Central Constituency, affiliated with the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who were arrested on June 30, 2025, have been granted bail by the Assin South District Court today, Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

The accused had previously been prosecuted for allegations of verbally insulting Prof. Richard Kofi Aseidu,the Central Regional Chairman of the NDC and remanded in Twifo police custody following their arrest.

The accused who are standing at trial of assin district court were, Andoh Obenebeng, Boadi Kwame Prince and Isaac Agyapong.

The court, presided over by His Lordship Emmanuel Amoh,encouraged both parties to pursue alternative dispute resolution (ADR), emphasizing that the matter is an internal party issue.

His Lordship set bail at 20,000 ghana cedis with one surety each, ordering the three accused persons to reappear in court on the next adjourned date.

Madam Charlotte Boakye , a spoke persons for the accused persons said they are so happy how the national party for the ndc took the matter serious for working hard to bring finally solution to the end.

She assured his people are adhere the party and court guidelines before they appear in court.

The complaint for the case (Prof. Richard Kofi Aseidu,Ndc Central Regional Chairman) spokepersons, Kweku Mintah Hayford appeals to the accused persons are being granted bail to accept their fault in order to re-withdrawal the court case.
