Controversial Death Of 18-Year-Old Girl, Allegedly Electrocuted To Death At Chinse Plywood Company At Antwi Agyei Nkwanta Near Bibiani
An 18-year-old young Girl identified as Gloria Addae has been allegedly electrocuted at a Chinese plywood company at Antwi Adjei Nkwanta in the Atwima Mponua District near Bibiani.
The police at Nyinahin in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region have confirmed the sad demise of an 18-year-old young Girl, *Gloria Addae*, who was working with a Chinese plywood company at Antwi Agyei Nkwanta.
According to the police, they had a distress call from Bibiani Divisional Police Command, that a female adult, aged 18, had been rushed to the Bibiani Government Hospital for treatment from Antwi Agyei Nkwanta, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
On the receipt of the information, the Police proceeded to Bibiani Government Hospital and met Madam Regina Benwah, Secretary of *XI YIN HE* Ghana Ltd – Antwi Agyei Nkwanta, who led the Police to meet Dr. Emmanuel Dabo, the medical officer on duty.
The medical officer on duty informed the Police that the deceased, Gloria Addae, was brought to the facility dead and further disclosed that upon his examination, he discovered that the deceased was electrocuted on her chest with intense pressure, that the body has been deposited at the morgue.
Investigation was extended to the morgue where the deceased was found lying in a supine position, and upon inspection, a deep burn of a hot object was found on her chest but no marks of violence.
The police extended their investigations to the company where the secretary led the Police to the company’s hostel at the outskirts of the company’s premises.
The room of the deceased was visited, and a search was conducted in her room. An electric iron was found with human skin stacked beneath the iron.
Meanwhile, the body of deceased has been deposited at Bibiani Government Hospital morgue for preservation.
Speaking to the deceased father, Kwaku Addae, confirmed the same narration and appealed to the police to conduct a thorough investigation of the case as he suspects foul means of his daughter’s death.
