Breaking News!!!!Kusasi Chief Shot Dead At Residence In Asawase

The Deputy Kusasi chief, Abdul Malik Zimbe, has been shot dead by unknown assailants at his residence in Asawase, Ashanti region.
The incident occurred yesternight, and according to reports, the motive behind the attack is allegedly linked to the ongoing Bawku conflict, given the chief’s prominent role in the Kusasi community.
Alhaji Abdul Rahman Abdul-Mumin, the Ashanti Regional Kusasi youth leader, described the chief as a man of peace who had no known conflicts with anyone.
In an interview with Angel Tv News, he expressed shock over the incident and called on the Kusasi youth in the Ashanti region to exercise patience and wait for the police to complete their investigation, urging them not to retaliate against anyone.
The police have visited the scene, and an investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the suspects.
The body of the 52-year-old chief has been deposited at the Ebenezer hospital morgue.
Alhaji Abdul Rahman Abdul-Mumin has urged the police to work diligently to bring the perpetrators to justice, ensuring that those responsible for this heinous act face the full weight of the law.
