Angry Youth, Nananom Protest Against Gomoa Assin Omanhene Over Failed Attempt To Destool Akotsi Chief
Angry Youths and Nananom of Gomoa Akoti in the Gomoa East District have registered their displeasure on Omanhene of Gomoa Assin traditional council Obirifo Ahunako Ahor Ankobea II over attempt to allegedly impeach Nana Safo Ninson Xviii who is chief of Gomoa Akotsi.
According to them, the Omahene has connived with some family members and want to install another chief despite their chief, Nana Safo Ninson Xviii who doubles as Nkabomuhene of Gomoa Assin Traditional council is still alive and performing his duty as chief of the area.
The youth in a protest have expressed their grievances over the actions of Obirifo Ahunako Ahor Ankobea II and the family who have connived to impeach the chief to stop their plot before they strike on them.
They said, as Nana Sarfo Ninson Xviii is working hard to bring development to them, the Omanhene and some family members are distracting him from developing the community.
Meanwhile, the chief of Gomoa Akotsi, Nana Sarfo Ninson Xviii said, he has called for peace amongst the youth group in the area.
He expressed his worry on the actions of the Omanhene which is distracting the peace and development of Gomoa Akotsi.
He has therefore called on IGP and House of Chief to call Omanhene to order.
