Akwatia NPP Warn IGP, Police Over Poor Security Ahead Of By-Election

The National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Henry Nana Boakye (a.k.a Nana B) has sounded a warning to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno and his policemen to not play with security ahead of Akwatia by-election else the NPP will protect themselves.

Speaking at the Akwatia NPP Delegates Conference and Campaign Launch, the national organizer of the NPP party, Henry Nana Boakye (a.k.a Nana B) has sounded words of warning to IGP Christian Tetteh Yohuno and his men to put proper measures in tightening security ahead of Akwatia by-election.

He divulged that, since the appointment of IGP Yohonu, insecurity has been on its highest, of which a typical example is what happened at Ablekuma and the NPP party wouldn’t watch it happen again during Akwatia by-election therefore, should the police fail to protect the citizens, the NPP will protect themselves.

He has also called on all Akwatia NPP party faithfuls and sympathizers to come together and win the Akwatia seat with Solomon Asumadu to honour the late Akwatia MP, Ernest Yaw Kumi.

The Eastern Regional NPP chairman, Jeff Konadu Addo has encouraged all NPP party faithfuls and sympathizers to go out in their numbers and peacefully cast their vote during the by-election for Solomon Asumadu to win the seat for Akwatia NPP.

End.
