Three Killed, 10 Seriously Injured In Chieftaincy Dispute At Agona Abodom
Three people has been killed while 10 others seriously injured after alledge Land Guards clash with Agona Abodom Community in a chieftincy dispute during their 2025 Akwambo festival celebration.

The unfortunate incident happened at Agona Abodom in the Agona West Municipality of the Central Region
Two vehicles and other properties have been destroyed in the community while tables, chairs in chief palace have been also destroyed .
Gomoa Abodom is a farming Community but battling for chieftaincy disputes for the past 45 years until they installed Nana Osamdade Obrempog XI as chief in early this year.
Information gathered by Opanyin Darko indicates that, Nananom and residents of Agona Abodom were celebrating their Akwanbo Festival when the other side mobilized some Land Guards and create mayhem in the community.
In an interview with Angel news Opanyin Darko, an Eyewitness Kwame Arhin said, three people have been killed while many are in critical condition.
Meanwhile some of the residents says, they are living in fears and calling for military and Police protection .

Furthermore, Assembly man for Agona Abodom Electoral Area, Alex Donkor said, the situation is getting out of hand and need more security personnel.
