GNFS Contains Nogora Junction Fire, Saves Nearby Structures In Ho

A fierce blaze on August 13, 2025 evening, gutted a popular pub and food joint at Nogora Junction near Ho Technical University, along with four (4) other containers and their contents, including a boutique and some shops.

No injuries were reported, and investigations into the cause are ongoing.

The fierce fire, which began around 5:20 p.m.,and was reported to GNFS at 5:46 p.m., was swiftly contained by Ho Municipal firefighters led by STNO II Michael Segbedzi, preventing its spread to nearby structures.

Supported by Ho Municipal Fire Commander, DO II Tay Seth, the crew arrived within four (4) minutes and, with Regional Headquarters’ reinforcement, the blaze was brought under control at 7:15 p.m. and extinguished it at 7:45 p.m., protecting nearby structures.
