Prang Traditional Council Are Calling For The Completion Of Prang Shs School Dormitory And Portable Pipe Borehole Water

Prang Traditional Council and the Prang Senior High School in the Bono East region Region are appealing to the her Excellency the first Lady of the land, Mrs Lordina Mahama to come to their aid to complete the abandoned school boys and girls dormitory on their campus.
The school, established some 1992, which is in an erra of ex president of the republic of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings has been facing challenges due to incomplete infrastructure, hindering the learning and living conditions of the students.
A visit to the school by Oheneba Kesse Brempong,an investigative journalist revealed that, the abandoned boys and girls dormitory, which started several years ago, have been left unfinished, leaving the school with inadequate facilities to accommodate the growing student population.
This has resulted in overcrowded boys and girls dormitories, water problem making it difficult for students to focus on their studies and affecting their overall academic performance.
Speaking to the school headmaster, he called on the government to prioritize completing the abandoned boys and girls dormitory, and also aquire the school a portable pipe borehole as it is crucial for the school’s development and students’ well-being.
He believes that having adequate facilities will create a conducive learning environment and improve the overall quality of education at the school.
The president of Prang Traditional Council who spoke to journalist, and hopeful that their appeal to the government will be heard and that necessary steps will be taken to address the infrastructure challenges in the school.
The School authorities and the traditional authorities believe that investing in education is crucial for the country’s development and that providing students with necessary facilities will help them reach their full potential.
Nana Daka, the Gyaasehene of Prang Traditional Council who spoke on the behalf of the paramount chief Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III added that, it is time for her Excellency Lordina Mahama to prioritize education and invest in the future of the students at Prang Senior High School.
Completing the abandoned dormitory and the water challenges are a crucial step towards providing students with a conducive learning environment and ensuring their safety and well-being.
The traditional authorities eagerly await the government’s response and are hopeful for a positive outcome.
