Afigya Kwabre South To Get Metro Mass Buses To Combat Unapproved Fares And Short Loading

The Municipal Chief Executive Officer of Afigya Kwabre South, Hon. Patricia Pearl Ankrah, has announced plans to introduce Metro Mass buses on the Aduman junction to Kejetia route in the Ashanti Region.
This initiative aims to address issues with unapproved fares and short loading of passengers, which have been plaguing the area.
According to Hon. Ankrah, the alarming rate of passengers being stranded in the Ashanti region necessitates this move.
The Metro Mass buses are expected to standardize fares and reduce exploitation of passengers. Additionally, the buses will help minimize instances of short loading, where passengers are left stranded due to insufficient money on them.
Hon. Ankrah urged residents to support the Metro Mass buses by patronizing their services, ensuring the sustainability of the initiative.
She also cautioned loading boys against approaching the buses to prevent fraudulent activities.
She made this statement when she organized a town hall meeting with some opinion leaders and assembly member in her municipality.
Some of the opinion leaders who where present at the town hall meeting spoke to Sompa Fm Bawah Baidoo about the Buses.
