Driver’s Mate In Critical Condition After Carbide Cylinder Explosion At Magazine

Carbide cylinder has exploded at Suame Magazine Zone 18, leaving an unidentified man believed to be in his early 40s battling for his life.

According to some eyewitnesses, the victim, who is a driver’s mate, had sent their vehicle for maintenance.

The yet to be identified man has reportedly lost his left hand and parts of his brain and is currently at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
