NDC Government Will Help You Establish Yourself To Train Others – MCE To Graduate Hairdressers And Beauticians

The Berekum East Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Hajia Fati Abubakar has stated that the NDC government is committed to offering substantial support and resources artisanal masters that will aid them to establish themselves in the realm of training others to also become professionals.

The MCE made this assertion during a graduation ceremony of 32 hairdressers and beauticians in the Berekum East Municipality.

She noted that, the initiative aims not only at bolstering the career of the graduates as skilled professionals but also at empowering them to share their expertise and knowledge with individuals who wants to be trained in the Hairdressing and Beauticians industry.

Nana Abena Kyerah Kentenbutu, President of the Berekum Branch of the Beauticians and Hairdressers Association, encouraged parents to provide the same level of financial support to their children pursuing apprenticeships as they do for those in formal education.

According to her, this support would enable them to lead independent lives and reduce their reliance on men for survival, which can ultimately result in various ailments and infections, adversely impacting their lives after completing their apprenticeship years.
