Ten (10) In Critical Condition, Others Injured In An Accident Involving Three Vehicles At Akoti Junction
Ten (10) people are in critical condition, others injured in a fatal accident that involved three trucks at Gomoa akoti junction in the Gomoa East District.
The accident occurred after water tanker truck with registration number GR: 5961-23 from Akramang failed brake and crashed into two vehicles which involve pessagers Nissan vehicle with registration number GW: 5148-12 and pure water truck with registration GB:2974-22.
The water tanker truck somersault after crashing into the pure water truck forcing the water in the tanker to split on the road.
According to the report gathered by Opanyin Darko, the water tanker truck failed it brake while desending a mountain at akoti junction which force the driver to crashed into the passengers loaded from potsin to kasoa, further collided into parked purewater cltruck at akoti junction.
Eyewitnesses speaking to Angel news said, 10 people are in critical condition and others are also injured and are currently receiving treatment at Winneba hospital.
