Kontihene of Agona Nyarkrom traditional Area who doubles as the Odikro of Agona Duakwa Nana Kojo Amoakwa V has blast the Ruling Government of failing to solve the galamsey activities in the country.
Speaking at the ground durbar of their annual festival held at Agona Duakwa, Nana raised some concerns over how the galamsey have destroyed most water bodies in the country most especially the Ayensu River which serve over 10 district in the central region.
However he is calling on the government to fix the Kwanyarko Water crises with immidiate effect to resolve the water crises in and around Agona West municipal.

Meanwhile, Hon. Samuel Oscar Mensah the District Chief Executive for Agona East assured the Nananom and the residents of solving the water crises in no time, he therefore promise to re-shape the deplorable road from Agona Swedru to Nsaba until the contractor comes to site.
Hon. Samuel Oscar Mensah call the residents to rally behind his government the member of Parliament Hon Queenstar Maame Pokuwaa Sawyer to bring more developmental projects to the District.
