Tragedy Strikes Abrepo Bronikrom 7-Year-Old Boy Drowns In Heavy Rainfall

A devastating incident has occurred in Abrepo Bronikrom, located in the Bantama constituency of the Ashanti Region, where a 7-year-old boy Kwame tragically drowned yesterday following heavy rainfall.

The young boy was among three children bathing in the rainwater when one of their slippers was swept away. In an attempt to retrieve the slipper, the boy, whose name is Kwame, was carried away by the flood in the gutter.

Eyewitnesses speaking to Angel Tv News reporter Bismark Mensah expressed deep concern, stating that as of this morning, efforts to retrieve the boy’s body have been unsuccessful.

“We are really scared because this is the first time this thing is happening here in our community,” they shared, highlighting the shock felt by local residents.

As in the morning , neither the police nor rescue teams had visited the scene, adding to the community’s anxiety.
