Denkyira To Name New Paramount Chief On Monday

The Denkyira Traditional Council, led by Queen Mother Nana Ama Ayensua Saara III, is expected to nominate a new paramount chief for the people of Denkyira on Monday, September 29, 2025.

During Sunday’s Akwasidae ceremony at the Amponsem Palace in Jukwa, the Denkyirahemaa highlighted some rituals that have been performed to arrive at this decision.

She emphasized the importance of unity among Denkyira natives, urging them to come together during this crucial moment.

The Denkyirahemaa also warned troublemakers to stay off Denkyira land, stating that they will not tolerate any trouble at this time.
