We Want To Lift Education In Anomabo-Hon Asoku Assemblyman

As part of this year’s Anomabo Okyir Festival celebration hon Amos Pius Asoku aka Sompa the Assemblyman for Krokessim Kokodo electoral area has planned to hold a Quiz competition among all schools in Anomabo to uplift education in the community.

Speaking to angel tv news correspondent Douglas Oyiboh Amponsah,

The hon Sompa said education is part of life and also the key source of development of Ghana, so they are holding this quiz to empower the young ones in education to uplift the image of Anomabo.

He said the quiz will carry on among 10 JHS and 13 Primary schools all located in Anomabo.

Going forward he said every school will select three students each to represent them in the competition and the first, second, third winning schools will receive their trophies and medals, books, pens etc and also a certificate endorsed by the Anomabo Traditional Council.

Hon Asoku pleaded to Nananom, the noble people of Anomabo and all stakeholders to come to their aid in support of this objective to help build the younger generation in education at Anomabo and the region at large

In conclusion, the Okyir festival School quiz chairman, Kojo Lawrence also advised all schools to learn hard and also drew the attention of teachers to give their students the supervision and directives to be disciplined since the most decent schools will earn extra marks during the competition.
