Breaking News!!!! Body Of 7-Year-Old Kwame Found in Akropong After Five-Day Ordeal

The body of 7-year-old Kwame, who went missing in Abrepo Bronikrom, Ashanti Region, has been retrieved in Akropong in the Ashanti region, shocking search teams who hadn’t anticipated the body would be found so far from the initial incident location.
The tragic incident occurred five days ago, sparking intense search efforts in the community.
The young boy was among three children bathing in the rainwater when one of their slippers was swept away. In an attempt to retrieve the slipper, the boy, whose name is Kwame, was carried away by the flood in the gutter.
Speaking to Wayomi, a member of the search team, expressed surprise at the distance the body was found from where Kwame was last seen.
“They are really surprised because they didn’t know that the body will go that far,” Wayomi disclosed.
In an interview with Sompa Fm Bawah Baidoo, Wayomi disclosed that Kwame’s body has been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for an autopsy.
The search team is now awaiting release of the body by KATH authorities to proceed with burial arrangements in Barry.
The discovery has undoubtedly brought a mix of grief and closure to Kwame’s family and the community involved in the search efforts.
