Calls Grow For Completion Of Technical And Vocational Training Centre To Empower Youth

A community leader, Mr. Ransford Yaw Agyarko, has appealed to the government to expedite the completion of a Technical and Vocational Training Centre to equip young people with practical skills, reduce unemployment, and boost the local economy.
Speaking during an annual convention First Apostles Church International in Agona Swedru, Mr. Agyarko emphasized that the facility would provide vital hands-on training opportunities for the youth, steering them towards self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.
In a related development, Prophet Samuel Muronkumnsa Otoo expressed concern over the increasing abuse of hard drugs among young people and called for urgent measures to curb the menace.
Speaking to Angel Angel reporter ana Kojo Asare, he urged the government to ban the importation of harmful substances and appealed to parents to educate their children about the dangers of drug abuse, noting that many cases brought to his prayer camp stem from drug misuse.
