Afram Plains North DCE Aligns With President Mahama’s Big Push Agenda

Donkorkrom, Eastern Region, Hon. Kate Mawusi Babanawo, DCE for Afram Plains North, has reassured residents of her commitment to completing key legacy projects, including schools, hospitals, and major road networks connecting neighboring districts.

Speaking on GBC Volta Star Radio’s Morning Show with Tony Mark-Boye, Babanawo emphasized her administration’s focus on delivering these projects, aligning with President Mahama’s Big Push agenda.

The Big Push agenda, a $10 billion infrastructure plan, aims to boost Ghana’s development, focusing on roads, energy, health, education, and agriculture.

Babanawo’s priorities, including improving sanitation and security, fit into the initiative’s objectives.

Recent achievements include modern toilets at markets and refuse clearance from the Donkorkrom market.

Addressing concerns about Fulani herdsmen, Babanawo promised collaborative efforts to establish regulatory measures.

She appealed for patience from residents as her administration tackles numerous challenges.

The government’s Big Push agenda aims to address Ghana’s infrastructure deficit, estimated at $1.5 billion annually, and drive economic transformation.
