Ho Central MP Supports SHS Freshers With Educational Materials

Hon. Edem Kofi Kpotosu, Member of Parliament for Ho Central, has presented educational materials to the top 20 students who recently completed Junior High School (JHS) in the constituency.

The ceremony in Ho saw the MP hand over essential learning tools, including mattresses, trunks, and chopboxes, to the deserving students.

“This gesture is not only a reward for their hard work but also a motivation to encourage them to remain focused and strive for excellence,” Mr. Kpotosu said.

He advised students to form meaningful relationships with peers who positively influence them and share academic and personal development goals.

“Make friends with who will help you grow. Your environment and the people you associate with in SHS can either make or break your future. Choose wisely,” he cautioned.

The MP stress on the importance of parental involvement, urging parents to provide a supportive and disciplined home environment.

“Parents must monitor their children during and after vacations. Guidance and supervision at home are just as important as what they receive in school,” he stressed.

Parents, educators, and community leaders commended the MP’s dedication to education, noting that such interventions alleviate financial burdens and inspire students to aim higher.
