Armed Robbers Attack Gold Buyers In Adumasa, Two Suspects Arrested

Fear has gripped residents of Adumasa in the Juaben Municipality of the Ashanti Region following an armed robbery attack on gold buyers in the area.
The incident, which occurred yesterday, left six residents sustaining gunshot injuries.
According to Mr. Agyapong Andrews, the Assembly Member for the area, the armed robbers, who were on a motorbike, made away with gold, a gold machine, and money.
He revealed that the robbers were firing guns indiscriminately in the community, causing residents to flee for their lives.
However, in a daring chase, a bold taxi driver chanced upon the robbers and hit them with his car.
The robbers were said to be three in number, but the taxi driver’s actions led to the arrest of two suspects, who have been handed over to the Juaben Police Command.
The incident has left residents in the area shaken, and many are calling for increased security measures to prevent such attacks in the future.
The police are currently investigating the incident and working to apprehend the remaining suspect.
