Central Regional Electrical Contractors Demands Payment From Meinergy Company Limited After Ten Months Working Arrears

The central region Contractors who fixed the new prepaid meters For Meinergy Technology Company Limited are demanding their ten months outstanding salaries.

Electricity Company of Ghana contacted Meinergy for the installation of the new meters in 2023 but since January 2025 only have of their monthly salary was paid to every worker.

It is against this background that they are calling on ECG and government to settle all the outstanding wages

In an interview with Angel news during a press conference, Mr Emmanuel Nti, the chairman of the contractors Association has appealed to Meinergy to pay every money owe them.

He used the opportunity to give Meinergy Company Limited Two weeks ultimatum to pay the arrears or face their wrath.

On the other hand, some of the contractors also narrated their ordeal to Angel news.
