Stop Charging Patients For Treatment And Medications That Nhis Card Covers… Oti Regional Nhis Director Warns

The Oti Regional National Health Insurance Authority Storms The Market Registration Exercise to sensitize market women and the general public to always renew their expired National Health Insurance Card in order to access free health care service. It was 2day Sentisizing programme which took place at Poase Cement in Kadjebi District and New Ayoma in Buem-Jasikan Municipality which the Regional Director Mr. Julius Nelimor warned all Health Facilities to stop charging patients for treatment and medications that National Health Insurance Card covers

He also urged all and sundry to come and register for free of charge and also merge their Ghana Card with the National Health Insurance Card together for it to be one and finally check their breast for breast cancer.

On her part the In-Charge of Jasikan Health Services Workers Union, *Madam Mabel Duvor* challenge all women to from time to time go to any health facility to check their vitals especially as we are in the “Pink Month”

All the 9 Municipalities and Districts National Health Insurance Scheme Managers and Manageress in Oti Region were all there in their numbers to support the “Storm The Market” Registration exercise.

That is Krachi West, Krachi East, Krachi Nchumuru, Biakoye, Buem-Jadikan, Akan-Kadjebi, Nkwanta North, Guan and Nkwanta South.
