Hemang Lower Denkyira DCE Debunk Diversion And Missappropriation Of PWDS Funds Rumours
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira District in the Central Region, Mr. Patrick Fiable, has called on residents to disregard false rumors circulating on social media and within the district alleging that he has misappropriated the Disability Common Fund.
Speaking on the issue with Angel News’ Kwame Owusu Asante Shadrack, following his appearance before Parliament’s Select Committee on Local Government after the release of the 2024 Auditor-General’s Report, Mr. Fiable clarified that the report in question covers the period of the previous NPP administration, not his current tenure.
He explained that his confirmation as DCE took place on April 17, 2025, and therefore, the matters cited in the 2024 Auditor-General’s Report cannot be attributed to his administration.
Mr. Fiable further appealed to the people of Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira to focus on unity and development rather than misinformation. According to him, his mission is to bring meaningful development to the district and to leave behind a legacy of integrity and progress, not an abysmal record of failure.
