Mfantseman Assembly Gets Historic Renovation: MCE And NDC Government Praised

The Mfantseman Municipal Assembly in the Central Region has witnessed a historic moment with the commissioning of its newly renovated assembly hall, equipped with fully air-conditioned facilities. This marks the first major renovation since its establishment in 1947.
The renovation was commissioned by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Eric Stally Acquah Nananom, assembly members, in the presence of stakeholders and traditional leaders.
The Presiding Member and Assembly Members expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the MCE and the NDC government for this significant development, acknowledging it as a milestone in the history of the assembly.
This upgrade is expected to enhance the working environment for assembly members and staff, enabling them to deliver better services to the people of Mfantseman. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and governance in the municipality.
This marks the first major renovation since its establishment in 1947.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Eric Stanley Acquah, known as Mfantseman KK, expressed his gratitude to the government for allocating funds for the renovation since 1947 almost 80 years now.
He emphasized that this development is just the beginning of a series of projects aimed at improving infrastructure and services in the municipality.
The MCE highlighted upcoming projects, including a 24-hour market, education infrastructure, health facilities, and sanitation initiatives.
He urged assembly members to unite and support the development agenda, stressing that collective effort is key to developing Mfantseman.
In a show of support, philanthropist Mr. Ernest De-Graft Egyir donated furniture and tables to aid the assembly’s operations.
This initiative is seen as a significant step towards realizing the government’s vision of progress for the people of Mfantseman.
