Kwahu West Mce Warns Contractors To Deliver On Time Or Lose Their Contracts

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Kwahu West in the Eastern Region,Tamimu Halidu, has issued a firm reminder to all contractors working on municipal projects to complete them within the agreed schedule of four months or risk having their contracts terminated.

Speaking at a sod‑cutting ceremony that launched thirteen new projects across the municipality, Halidu stressed that timely completion is essential not only for the contractors reputation but also for the communities that are counting on the works.

The municipality has pledged to monitor progress closely and provide any necessary support to ensure the projects stay on track.
The MCE further urged them to work diligently to complete the projects within the stipulated four‑month period.

The thirteen initiatives, which include a mix of schools, water, CHPS compound and zonal councils are slated to be completed within a maximum of four months.

Halidu outlined each project, explaining the expected benefits for local residents and the specific timelines attached to each.
