Two Armed Robbers Butchered After Robbing And Killed Okada Rider At Awutu Mampong
Two Armed Robbers have been butchered after they robbed and killed a 19 year old Okada rider at Awutu Mampong in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.
19 year old young Okada rider who completed SHS this year and working as Okada rider to further his education has been robbed and killed by two Armed men at Awutu Mampong in the Central Region.
Sources says, these suspects hired the service of Kofi Mensah from Awutu Mampong to Agona Mankrong and after 5 minutes one of the suspects asked the rider to stop since he wanted to urinate.
The Robbers were arrested and killed instantly some angry residents and Okada riders at Agona Osadu after they discovered that their colleague Okada rider,Kofi Mensah has been shot dead by these Robbers while his motor bike has ben taken away.
When the Okada rider stops, the suspects ask Kofi Mensah for the motor keys else they will kill him, kofi Mensah refuses to handover the keys to them and in the process one of the suspect pulled out a pistol and shoot him.
In an interview with Angel news, Assembly man for Agona Asafo Electoral Area, Ishmael Odoom says the victim pleaded with the suspects to take his mobil phone and all his sales because the motor bike is not for him but working as a “work and pay”

He said after shooting him, they go ahead and broke his neck and then tied his hands with rope before taken the motor bike away.
Agona Asafo Assembly man said, after some minutes one of the Okada rider saw the lifeless body of Kofi Mensah on roadside,he then quickly informed his colleagues that led to the arrest of the suspects.
Ishmael Odoom said, after the arrest the angry residents and Okada riders on the Bawjiase – Agona Swedru stretch also butchered the suspects to death.
Ishmael Odoom narrated how the angry residents damage the body of the suspects..
He also called on Okada rider to be vigilant to avoid such occurrences.
All the three dead bodies have been conveyed by the Agona Swedru Police to police hospital while furthermore investigations ongoing.
