Eastern South Rrgional Police Arrest Alleged Nigeria Fugitive In Akyew Wenchi

The Eastern South Regional Police Command has arrested an alleged Nigerian fugitive, 26-year-old Victor Benjamin Fejemirokum, in Akwatia.
He is wanted in connection with the abduction and murder of a lady, who was a member of the Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and her daughter in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria
The Eastern South Regional Police Commander, DCOP George Bossman Ohene-Boadi, has announced the arrest of Victor Benjamin Fejemirokum, a 26-year-old Nigerian national, in Akwatia.
Fejemirokum is alleged to have abducted and murdered a lady, a member of the Nigerian Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and her daughter in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.
According to DCOP Ohene-Boadi, the suspect fled to Ghana and was hiding in Akyem Wenchi, in the Denkyembour District of the Eastern Region.
The police received a tip-off and launched an intelligence-led operation, arresting Fejemirokum at his hideout.
He is currently in police custody, and efforts are underway to extradite him to Nigeria to face justice.
DCOP Ohene-Boadi has appealed to the public and residents of the Eastern Region to remain calm, assuring them that the police are committed to protecting lives and properties in the area, as the police is their friend.
