Police Arrested 3 Persons For Stealing From Accident Truck

At least three Persons have been arrested and assisting investigation for stealing from a container vehicle involved in accident.

A fully Sardine loaded container vehicle enroute from Accra, in the greater Accra Region heading towards Kumasi in the Ashanti Region with two people onboarding the vehicle has involved in an accident at Kwahu Fodoa in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.

During the course of the journey, on reaching Fodoa hit a deep heavy pot- hole which resulted the cargo container vehicle with registration number AA 119CY turned on its side in the middle of the high way.

While good Samaritans are assisting to have the accident vehicle from the road to make flow of movement of other vehicles easy, the 3 suspects are also busy stealing the Sardines in the vehicle which has resulted to their arrest.

The Driver and his mate has been subsequently admitted at Holy family Hospital at Nkawkaw.

An eye witness Ayisetu Wahab who spoke with Angle News Oheneba Siaw narrated the incident and how it happened.
